Summer of 2011
Pamukkale is the site where great Calcium Carbonate formations form natural terraced pools. Hieropolus is the ancient Greek city just above it. We thought we would take it easy by having a leisure lunch and then go out for an afternoon stroll. After hiking all over the theater and pools and then back to the hotel miles away, we arrived some 12 hours later at about 11:30 PM. Oh and wet too because it is hard to pass up a warm pulsating natural pool.
